Fresh off of a collaboration with the La Coka Nostra crew (featuring Dissizit! co-founder Danny Boy O'Connor, formerly of House of Pain) which included the now-infamous Carmen Electra Hates La Coka Nostra Tee, graffiti legend and Dissizit founder / head designer Slick comes back swingin' and sprayin' his way to the top of the streetwear food chain.
Inspired by the enthusiasm of graff pioneer Iz the Wiz in documentary Style Wars ("THIS IS IT, THIS IS IT, THIS IS IT!"), Slick packed his spraycans and moved from the pristine shores of Waikiki to the grimy heaven of the Lost Angels to bring his style to the tee-shirt game, designing for graff heads at Third Rail and for the skater sets at Fuct Clothing, before coming full-circle back to his graff roots with Dissizit! which presents his one-of-a-kind can style on many of the pieces that have been sold-out and copied from countless other brands.
The latest drop from Dissizit! features the big, bold graphics you have come to expect from Slick and crew. The Fuck the Love Tee puts an L.A. twist of the iconic Love Park sculpture in Philadelphia, and the print says it all. No time for love, Doctor Jones. And with a basic, sharp-as-a-glass-cutter logo dubbed the "DxRing," Dissizit! shows you what's up in the art of getting down with the namesake tee. Expect to see this logo stenciled all over your neighborhood sooner rather than later.
Always some reliable heads to stay ahead of the game, Slick and Dissizit! come correct with two innovative tees, The Pixel Skull Tee and The DxBones Pixel Tee, a coincidental nod to the hype surrounding this week's Conficker computer virus scare. Worms are meant to be eaten after killing a bottle of Mexico's finest, not for computers. Show that squirmy motherfucker that you're not phased and cop these before you're forced to buy a knockoff on some other site in a few weeks... if your internet is still connected.
