We cannot even begin to explain how fucking amped we are to write this post... VANS! A close, personal favorite of ours since back in the day tearing apart skateparks, city streets, mountain slopes and halfpipes.
We're definitely not the only ones with a fondness for everything Authentic, Era, Chukka, Sk8 Hi or Slip-On. Since the dawn of Vans circa 1966 in Anaheim, California, everyone from Stacy Peralta to Jeff Spicoli to Tony "TNT" Trujillo to hip hop group The Pack and hardcore punkers Suicide Machines have expressed serious pride for their Vans, and with just one day of walking, skating or snowboarding in them, you too would know why.
Since the creation of the Vans #95 (now known as the Era models) in 1975, its simplicity, durability and comfort became a staple of skateboarders for generations to come. Now, more than 30 years later, Vans is still slaying the skateboard, snowboard and BMX scenes, but with the release of the Chukka, Era and Sk8 Hi models adorned with more leather and suede than your local dominatrix, Vans is set to conquer the streetwear sneaker market as well.
The Chukka Boot, Era Sneaker and Sk8 Hi Leathers are simply unfuckwithable, and in our opinion, might just be the first Vans we would not happily destroy skating the hell out of. With suede sides and uppers, and leather panels galore, you could sneak these in the clubs for the fake-tanned crowds and steal their ladies with your new-found class.
