Crooks are not always just torchin’ and crackin' and rhymin' and stealin’ shit. Sometimes they are just as happy to ante up and dole out their fortunes and that is exactly why we love Crooks & Castles so much here at Karmaloop.

The new crack supplied by L.A.’s finest includes the Naval CC Rugby Polo, the Crossbones Jacket, and the Coco Sweatshirt, which is just a portion of the potion we dropped this past week.

The Naval CC Rugby Polo has us drooling out here. Ideal for those days on the yacht after a long night of power moves, it is soft and comfortable enough for any weather condition and the embroidery on the chest emblem and back piece screams high class.

Gangster. The Crossbones Jacket looks like it was pulled right off of the back of Eric Wright circa 1988, with a modern twist by the C&C folks. Sporting the Coco logo on the chest and back, rock this banger with your Locs, Chucks and khakis and just watch the suckers get out of your way.

Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel was a pioneering French fashion designer whose modernist philosophy, menswear-inspired fashions and pursuit of expensive simplicity made her an important figure in 20th-century fash- … oh, what the fuck do we care? All that matters is her “Number 5” fragrance logo got Crooked and stanked the fuck out, seen here on the Coco Sweatshirt. Do your dirt rocking this and you will still come off fresh.

Triumvir - World Tour Mini Collection

Orange County emperors Triumvir make its return with the World Tour spring pre-collection.

Brandon at Triumvir wrote in to school us on the inspiration behind the World Tour and highly-anticipated Civil War spring collections, namely Julius Caesar’s personal death squad, the 13^th Legion.

“Legio XIII was [Caesar’s] personal and most decorated legion during his campaigns in Gaul, France and the first legion he took to cross the Rubicon River into Italy during the Roman Civil Wars,” Brandon wrote. “So I created Legio XIII as part of a theme for Triumvir… a darker collection with more military symbols of the past as its emphasis.”

Brandon noted that the cities and dates printed on the back of the World Tour Raglan, Slim Hood and Tee are the actual battles fought by the 13^th Legion during its active, blood-soaked run in ancient Rome. Following a decisive victory at Pompey, the unit was disbanded until called upon again to wreak havoc over the Conservative Republican Army at the Battle of Thapsus and the Battle of Munda. Those two brutal victories, which saw Caesar return to Rome as dictator shortly before his assassination, inspired the new “Deathsquad” emblem found on the raglan, hoodie and tee, as well as the World Tour Hat.

“In my mind,” Brandon continued, “Triumvir is the continuation of Rome spoken out into a lifestyle brand… so it’s only right for the legion to be recalled after death…”

The legion of Triumvir heads should keep both eyes open for the March premier of the Civil War line… we caught ourselves a sneak preview and all we can say is, well… the die is cast… Triumvir is coming, Triumvir’s all-seeing, Triumvir conquers.

From the land of the rising sun, hobby:tech (influential DJ, Japanese designer) brings you KIKS TYO. hobby:tech launched KIKS TYO in 2006. In 2007 hobby:tech opened the KIKS TYO Head Shop boutique in Shibuya, and a 2nd store called html (hobby tasteful merchandise laboratory) in Ikebukuro.

Sons of Liberty

The latest Sons of Liberty tees have arrived at Karmaloop.

Millions turned out to let thier collective voice be heard this past Novermber, and the masses did the right thing by voting for change, for hope, for liberty. Something Dubya definitely would not understand. Drawing influence from the Spike Lee joint 'Do the Right Thing,' the message in the film and the "It's a Barack Thing" tee share similarities railing against bigotry and fighting the powers that be.

The "Fuck R@C!$M" tee speaks for itself. Really, what more is there to say? It's 2009, kids, not 1899, so get your heads and hands together and build.
