The
freshest Han Cholo collection has arrived at Karmaloop. Born and raised in Los
Angeles, designer Brandon Schoolhouse, dubbed “Han Cholo”, grew up and was
deeply rooted in the sub culture of Hollywood’s music and art scene. Although
having taken classes for metal works in high school, Brandon pursued a career
in music with his band, “Buff Muffin”, with whom he developed a devout
following and fame. Through such a career, Brandon met the “Beastie Boys”, for
whom he started working shortly after being introduced. Managing the band’s
record label “Grand Royal”, Brandon began to DJ, which gave birth to his alter
ego, Han Cholo. Several years down the road, Han Cholo continued making a name
for himself, spinning at LA’s illest night spots and most poppin’ parties,
while at the same time spending his days designing jewelry to style and
accessorize his celebrity clients with. Brandon clearly had a knack for making
jewelry, so in 2002, he teamed up with Guillaume Pajolec, launching the Han Cholo
line, which was an instant hit. Invariably on high demand, Han Cholo has become
the “it” accessory amongst Hollywood’s hottest celebrities and fashionistas
alike. Han Cholo’s brilliance stems from Rock N’ Roll, Science Fiction, Fantasy
Art and Hip Hop inspirations. Mixing geek culture with street culture, Han
Cholo features innovative, hip gold and silver jewelry for both men and women. Ice
up your wardrobe with The Rocket Blaster, The Jacks Earrings, The
Bullets Ring in Silver, The Love Thy Neighbor Pendant, The Crazy Love Life
Bangle and The Gold Digger Necklace.
