Leave it to Vice to promote the lifestyle of a prolific and degenerate (also prolifically degenerate) artist that is David Choe, whose work marks up countless walls and whose lifestyle of traveling, thieving, gambling and --oh yeah, painting and drawing spectacular and disgusting graphic art in every medium--have given him the kind of street cred every hobo dreams of. Though Vice has been publishing his work since he began documenting his hitch-hiking and freight-hopping travels with photographs and sketches, they've got a new internet TV station-VBS- and gave Choe a camera and a mission: to get as many free rides on a thumb and his charm alone. Wel, we just watched episode 11, and it's hilarious. He gets lost in a Memphis freight yard, is given the keys to a Jaguar and gets an Arkansas cop to give the "Thumbs Up", the name of the show. A new episode goes up every Wednesday and is the kind of lazily-edited, giggling hijinx video that makes it feel like you're part of the unfolding adventure without the bail responsibility.
