With perfect pectorals and chizzled abs, the beefcake of Baywatch is back for a one night stand this evening at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. Featuring absurd music videos, clips of his best work, and a Hassel/off costume dance competition, the theatre is hosting a career-spanning Hoffman extravaganza beginning at midnite. Besides gratuitous nipple shots and Knight Rider clips, the night will wrap with a showing of his 1979 sci-fi C-movie epic, Starcrash.
Tagged as "Galatic Adventures Beyond Your Wildest Dreams", Starcrash is said to be an absu-ludious Italian-style Star Wars knock off. A story of a motley band of rebels "fighting against intergalatic tyranny," the film scores with Christmas light backdrops and David in sequins.
