There's a lot of good music out right now across the nation,
but some just gets overlooked. I believe that the San Francisco Bay Area
possesses one of the greatest sounds in music right now,
but does not gain
recognition. Places such as NY and ATL are always on the radar, but I can't
figure out why the Bay Area isn't. Tons of great beats, raps, flows, and albums
come out of the Bay, but rarely ever do you hear any of those on the radio or
see them on BET. So if you enjoy music, search up names such as; Mac Dre,
Mistah FAB, Keak Da Sneak, Yukmouth, Messy Marv, San Quinn, PSD, Bailey the
Champ, Federation, Frontline... All known in the bay, yet neglected in the rest
of the United States.
HYPHY!
yo i dont know... i think music nerds are hungry for another localized scene to be sexy, but i don't expect hyphy to catch on in a big way.
if some big producer can take it to the next level, like what happened to the Ying Yang Twins, then we're good... i hear dj shadow has signed on for the ride.
