The beauty of blogging is that just about anyone can start one up for free and generate a captive audience. I recently stumbled across these two bloggers who some people may not suspect. Both homeless men, “Happy Ivy” and Kevin Barbieux both maintain successful blogs. Happy Ivy’s blog is broadcast via a laptop on a bus in a Fillmore, California orange grove where Happy Ivy calls home. Using local Wi-Fi access and video equipment, the 53-year-old man is able to reach viewers with his grassroots political messages via his About Us Network television network (http://www.aboutusnow.com/). 
“The Homeless Guy” (http://thehomelessguy.blogspot.com/) by Kevin Barbieux, is another popular blog with a large following. It is full of poignant commentary on homeless issues and includes pictures and video links. Barbieux updates his blog from a Nashville, TN library.
