More than what meets the eye

Joanna Sands goes above and beyond the average recycler. This artist started utilizing pieces of abandoned buildings as her media in the 1990s. Today, Sands creates amazing sculptures and installations that are literally outside of the box. The shapes often flow like waves, and are always visually appealing.

Her talent for reworking wood has earned Sands a spot at the Optician Gallery in London as well as some permanent installations around the world.
