For all of you who are up on fashion and style news, you have probably been reading about Nike’s skateboard tour, “Minor Threat” and the scandal blowing up the blogs. If you haven’t heard, basically Nike had been using Minor Threats’ album cover and name for their 2005 skate tour without MT's permission. This pissed off a lot of fans and Discord Records, Minor Threat’s record label, alike. So poor little Nike had to apologize: read their press release put out yesterday. (click image below)
I freakin hate Nike, and their lame "pretty please with sugar on top forgive us for our bad judgment" apology is crap. The damage is done, and they knew it all along. The best way to deal with this? Destroy ANYTHING you have with a swoosh on it. Don't give it away to charity - unfortunately, you'll still be helping Nike's brand awareness by enabling someone to become a Nike marketeer. Purge your home of Nike, you'll feel awesome. then go to www.fugaziliveseries.com and buy some of their shows to show your support. Tim B, Seattle WA

Are you kidding me with this CRAP>>>>
In any other situation there would be a lawsuit etc. So what makes a sheep's swoosh any different. I say piss on them. Piss all over their apology because it's not one at ALL. If you have anything that is a Nike brand remove the swoosh using any means needed = a knife, match, lighter, gasoline. I think you get the idea. Punks not Dead.
