3rd annual Halloween party will benefit local journalism scholarship
BOSTON, Mass. – Halloween is just around the corner……and on Saturday, Oct. 28th hundreds of partygoers will don their best costumes for BLOODFEAST 2006, a pre-Halloween bash that will raise money for the New England SPJ journalism scholarship fund.
Music, dancing, and live performances will lead up to the highlight of the evening: a Halloween costume contest with a $1,000 grand prize for the most creative outfit. Runner-up prizes include gift certificates from Karmaloop (160 Newbury Street).
And remember, all of this Halloween mayhem is for a good cause – attendees will receive information about upcoming blood drives from the American Red Cross, and proceeds from the door benefit the NESPJ journalism scholarship.
